Master bath I recently finished in Yardley. Shower wall tile was 18”x36” with back wall set on a diagonal. Shower floor was of pebbles. Niche on the rear wall for all the shampoo bottles. The small “mailbox” niche is a foot rest for leg shaving. Bathroom floor was of 6x 42” plank style. Extra space was found behind the shower head wall so I was able to add built-in shelving.

A little before and after. Homeowner wanted a more dramatic look than this white subway but didn’t want to replace all the tile in the bathroom. The shower wall tile was carefully tied into the existing wall tile and this large format tile gave a more modern and sleeker look. Steam shower. Yardley, PA The prep is most important when building a steam shower. All walls, floors, and ceiling must be waterproofed. NTCA guidelines require Schluter board on wall and ceiling. The floor was a wet-bed waterproofed with Schluter Kerdi membrane. Penny tiles on the floor
